Privacy Policy

Last revised: October 20, 2026

1. Introduction & Scope

Welcome to Image2PDFTool (accessible at https://image2pdftool.com). We are an independent web application dedicated to providing free, reliable, and private image-to-PDF conversion utilities directly in your web browser.

This Privacy Policy explains how information is handled when you visit our website, our strict browser-side document compilation architecture, how contact form submissions are processed, and your privacy rights.

2. Image and PDF Processing (100% In-Browser)

Unlike conventional online document converters that require uploading files to cloud servers, Image2PDFTool executes all image conversion and PDF compilation exclusively within your local web browser using client-side JavaScript, HTML5 Canvas, and WebAssembly.

Zero Document Upload Guarantee:
  • Your uploaded JPG, PNG, and WebP pictures are never sent to our servers.
  • Generated PDF documents are assembled directly in your device's memory.
  • We do not inspect, log, cache, or store your photos, documents, or metadata.
  • Temporary memory references (Object URLs) are automatically revoked when you remove an image or close the browser tab.

3. Information Submitted Voluntarily

You can use our image-to-PDF converter completely anonymously without registering an account. The only personal information we collect is data you voluntarily provide when contacting us via our Contact Page:

  • Name: Used to address you in our reply.
  • Email Address: Used as the destination to reply to your inquiry.
  • Inquiry Category & Subject: Used to route your message to the appropriate queue.
  • Message Content: The text you submit describing your feedback, bug report, or inquiry.

Contact submissions are dispatched securely to our email provider (Resend) solely to allow our support team to respond to your inquiry. We never sell, rent, or distribute contact emails to third-party marketing services.

4. Technical Information & Google Analytics 4

To monitor website reliability, detect software defects, and understand aggregate usage trends, we may use Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

GA4 collects aggregate, pseudonymous technical metrics such as device type, browser family, approximate geographic country, and general feature interactions (e.g. "image_added" or "pdf_generation_started").

Strict Privacy Safeguards in Analytics:
  • IP Anonymization: IP masking is permanently enabled.
  • No File Names or PII: File names, document text, and personal email addresses are never sent in analytics payloads.
  • No Document Data: Image bytes and PDF streams are strictly excluded from all telemetry.

5. Browser Storage & Cookies

Image2PDFTool uses browser localStorage solely to remember your chosen visual theme preference (Light or Dark mode) across page reloads. This preference data remains strictly on your local device and is never transmitted to any external server.

6. Third-Party Service Providers

We engage carefully selected third-party service providers solely for hosting and communications:

  • Hostinger: Provides secure web server hosting and static file delivery.
  • Resend: Dispatches contact form messages to our support inbox.
  • Google Analytics: Provides aggregated, anonymous traffic metrics.

7. Data Security

Our website is delivered exclusively over encrypted HTTPS connections with modern Transport Layer Security (TLS). Because image processing is performed client-side, the security of your documents relies on your own device's local operating system rather than cloud-based storage vulnerability.

8. Children's Privacy

Image2PDFTool is a general audience productivity utility. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 13. If you believe a child has submitted personal details through our contact form, please notify us and we will promptly delete the submission.

9. Your Rights & Policy Updates

Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the right to request access to or deletion of any contact messages you previously submitted to our support team.

We may periodically update this Privacy Policy to reflect technical improvements or legal requirements. Any modifications will be posted directly to this page with an updated revision date.

10. Contact Us

If you have questions, feedback, or concerns regarding this Privacy Policy, please reach out via our Contact Page or email us directly at [email protected].
